Do you know about IMU Surgical Society ?

This society has been the oxygen I breath and the food that I eat . Basically, im just saying that its been what I’ve been busy with for the past 3 months .

We are organizing our 1st Surgical Meeting this June 16th.

Its going to be BIG !!!

We are expecting  200 students. And I really do want to make this event a success .

Currently, we are making all the preparations. All the small small minor minor logistics have to be taken into account .

I’m in charge of sponsors .

Currently, we have sponsors from Student Service Deparment IMU, IMU SRC . My friend also found & 2 major sponsors . B-Braun and Student Board MMC.

I think … I caught my first big fish today .

The samaritan agreed to sponsor us RM 1000 !!!!

If that is confirmed, we need another RM 1000 to be secure.

From the younger bro

This is an email my younger brother Zhen sent to me last year .

 

HI dear sis ! Im fine here … having exams too this week wednesday and friday . Got patanat and Pharmaco … same la a lot to cover as well … but its not like urs big exam la … So recently also preparing for classes , exams and also working on apartment cell groups =>

Yes I do have a new place already . its quite nice . we got a very good deal out of our place , i mean the location is good , price is reasonable too ! We can walk to many of our classes ad => .Internet here is super fast , whats coming up here is CHristmas !!! hehe … the planning is going on already … can see my juniors super excited and they are doing a great job so far .

I heard you have been busy preparing for ur exam.But I know you’re not the kind of last minute one ah so I think you should be ok la … just get a good friend and pop quiz each another might help you la .Dun worry sis , cover as much as you can .But dun be angry at urself if you can’t answer something you don’t know but make sure that the things that you have read you can answer.. just wanna share what I learned in church today with you , 3  steps that you do not want to do :
1 . Planning without God – What ever it is , ur studies or no matter what you do … always plan with God . Plan and he will direct you my dear sis =>
2.Prejudice about tomorrow – We always think we know whats gonna happen tmr and we get afraid of things that havent happen yet . I hope this verse will encourage you

- know that the Joy of the lord is your strength ! So dun be stressed , put your worries into action !Again I say this , put your worries into actions !  Always plan for tomorrow but don’t worry bout what is going to happen then .

3.Not doing what is right

- This is something like procrastination la … not doing what you are suppose to do when you are supposed to . Like Fbing when suppose to study smth smth like that la .

So dear sis ,I think i am starting to be long -winded liao …anyway dun be worried … for me i find it easier to study when i’m less tensed … Hope what my pastor shared today will enlighten your day => !!!

i think my younger bro is so much more mature than I am . God has touched his life . And all of us in the family has seen him”differentiate” and mature so much in just a year . He means a lot to us . And we love him very much  . This was the advice he gave me , knowing that i get panicky when exams are around the corner . Just want to immortalize it here because its precious to me =D

Matthew 11:28-29

When you are faced with trouble . Overwhelmed with fear . Shaking  tremendously .

Rather than wishing that you could run away and forget about everything , bring them to God .

He will give us rest .

Exams around the corner . Palpitations like 24 hours daily .

Note to self : take  deep breaths … deep deep breaths …

Don’t Give UP!

1:

I have a friend who talks a lot. But I love listening to what she tells me.

She talks to me about her view on different things in life. How she feels and her opinions on things that go on in her life.

And I realize. I learn a lot from her. Each time I meet up or chit chat with her. I gain some insight. I learn about people. And how things work in society.
I am blessed to have a friend like her.

Parents are back from Japan and Korea with lots of goodies.

3:

End of posting exam next week. Means I finally get to go home soon. Means that BBQ party at Agnes’s place on Sunday is around the corner.

1-I said ,”Good morning , Doctor ” and D.K said “Yes , Chua. ”  X) my lecturer knows my name … that can be good and bad . but i think he probably remembers me for some carelessness and stupid mistakes i did the last time i met him . improvements needed ! Plus , he doesn’t like to be called doctor . So , yup , it means that i’m doomed in some way .

2-the patient , Mr.A, age 72 , laughed and told me so many stories . thats satisfying .

3-Ate with housemates during dinner .

4-went jogging around the taman for after such a long time.

5- spoke to Sheen ,like , oh finally , after so long

6 – a senior taught us how we should study

7 – internet was fast

You know that God  loves you when your birthday arrives in a series of  celebrations for a whole week .

You know that God is taking good care of you when your friends plan surprises for you and make sure you had a memorable birthday .

You know that God looks after you when at the end of the week of your birthday , you develop a phobia for cakes .

You know that God watches over you when your family waits for your arrival to celebrate your 22nd birthday .

Thank you God for this wonderful present . Thank you Lord , for blessing me with friends and family .

Love Others

I realized today that God is amazing .

He loves every single human being in this world . Unconditioned . Not selective .
No , he ain’t picky .

His love for all of us is deep and sincere .
He doesn’t cheat you into giving Him your lollipop by complimenting you from hair tip to toe nails .

He loves all and doesn’t abandon any single one of us.
So , if you feel that your mama , papa , sister , brother , ah ma , ah gong and your pet dog named Fatfat are in love with Lee hom and that no one loves u , fear not , He still loves you .

He was willing to sacrifice . He could have sacrificed His Ipod , His Porche , His unlimited supply of Baskin Robin . Or even us … But , nope !
Of all things , He sacrificed His Son to be crucified . To save us .
Sacrificial love .

And so , we should learn to love like God . Love others sincerely . Till they come to you , because they know you really care for them .
