Went to a primary school today.

For the first time in my life. I palpated little school boys’ erhemmm that part….@(&;@;$:? i feel like laughing. The testis … so tiny… like marbles … no … more like peanuts XDD

Then , me and my friends helped tye staff nurse to fill up the BMI part of the health booklets of the students there.

When was the last time you stepped into your primary school?

I was superoverwhelmed by the familiarity .

Spotted a quote on the wall which was very meaningful.

Nobody should feel that they are useless. =)

First Camera

I want a camera !

Lucky me , Papa Chua and Mama Chua  is going to grant me that wish . That’s not the only thing they are granting me . A camera is one of the wishes being granted .  Heee Heee .  I feel so blessed . (Thank you thank you thank you) x 947865837947.

I’ve been thinking , reading lots of reviews , viewing review videos and staring at the promotion page .

Its between Canon IXUS 210 or PowerShot SX210 IS or PowerShot S95 or PowerShot S90 … aargh , i feel like having each of them especially CanonPowerShot S95.

I’m not much of a photography junkie .  But , i know a thing or 2 , not 3 though =(    and have an interest in photography . And this dire thirst to snap photos has been bugging me since ………. form 5 ,  which was 5 years ago .

I’m finally getting MY OWN camera . WEE ! I repeat once again MY … OWN … CAMERA ! ^o^

Because it is my first . I really thought it over and over and over .

Finally decided that it has to be Canon IXUS 210 .

Not CanonPowerShot S95 .

That’s so saddening . I  really really REALLY feel like having S95 .

But .

S95 is more than my budget . Adui . Sobs .

There is a  Canon Christmas Promotion and these 2 babies are among the some that have discounts .Christmas rules!

You can say that S95 is  my dream camera . Not bulky , not as expensive as a DSLR , has all the features of an amateur-beginner photography enthusiast like me , handy , highly recomended by experts , so many features to play with , the list just goes on …

Whereas IXUS 210 , well if compared to the above … its rubbish . Its RM400  cheaper than S95 . and its the best within the budget . I don’t feel good spending more than what my parents give , after all , they’d promised me some other STUFF ^^  . Besides that , the image quality is quite good , has features like anti-shake , miniature effect , 5x zoom , sleek built , thinner than S95 , less of manual controls . One thing i don’t like about it is that its fully touch screen .

Still contemplating whether its a good idea to get it . Touch screen can be very troublesome .

Chose this also because … you know . Since i’m still such a noob at photography, why am i getting one thats more advanced ? I could improve myself to a certain level with the compact . And when I’ve really understood the camera features better , i move on to the semi-pro . Plus , I don’t need such good photos at such a noob level .

Will Probably take the black one .

Because it  reminds me of this .

Memo to self :  Shi yi , Time will come when you earn it yourself .

And love it even more .

the not so malaysia part of Melaka

Just came back from Melaka yesterday .

Due to the lack of internet , transport and Astro at my Grandpapa’s house , I had to find other sources of entertainment so that my 5 days there weren’t meaningless .

Like i said , no transport , the only means of transport were my capable pair of legs . So , they brought me everywhere from my grandpa’s house to Mahkota Parade , Dataran Pahlawan , Stadhuys , along Sungai Melaka , A ‘Famosa and Dataran Sungai Melaka .

Tampin Hill

My neighbour , my two brothers and I went to climb Tampin Hill today .

Normally , my trips to the hill would just end at the small waterfall at half-way up the hill . But , this time I climbed with my 2 brothers up to the peak .

Our climb started around 7.15 am . The distance of our journey up the hill was measured by the electricity poles . The poles starts from 1 . You’ll reach pole number 44 when you are half-way up the hill .

After pole number 44 , the path to the peak was really spooky . The course was entirely empty , as if its haunted . The trees hid behind mist .

It was a struggle to reach the summit . It route was steep and we didn’t know how many poles we had to pass to arrive at the top . We wondered what was behind each turning .

And finally , after an hour of perpetual climbing , we reached the peak . The weather up there was cooling .

After a tiring climb , we just had to have prove . Here’s our evidence . My neighbour chickenend out half way up . So , no photos of him .

Tampin Hill is a good place for cardio workout . It really keeps your heart pumping .

If you are out of shape , this is the best place to slim yourself down . I’ve heard that a super overweight guy ( Tampin-ese ) climbed the hill each evening , and after a while , he was found super healthy looking .

If you ever visit Tampin , Tampin Hill is one of the spots you should not miss .

Plus , its good for camwhoring .
