I made an accidental Lukut trip yesterday. And came home with FOOD !
There’s 6 of em plastic bags filled with Lukut specialty.
Curry chicken bread !
And it came from Lucky Seafood Restaurant which was situated along the main road of Lukut.
It cost RM25 for one giant bun. Best eaten when it’s fresh.
Mum bought 6 of them as a gift to our family friends.
Yesterday was an interesting day. Drove to so many places. My dad started out with sending Hui Hwen off from KLIA. Woke up around 5.30am and left the house around 6.30am. I was very glad that I made it to KLIA on time and without getting lost. Pei Fern and I even manage to have a farewell breakfast with Hui Hwen at the airport.
Then from KLIA , I went to seremban. Then to Port Dickson. Explored port Dickson a bit. Went to port Dickson hospital , Klinik kesihatan ( which was at the other end of port dickson ) and the Jabatan Kesihatan Daerah. Finally, the next stop was to head back home from the Jabatan. Actually, by then , I didn’t know where I was in PD. The exit where I entered into PD was quite far away. So I decided to just follow any Seremban road signs back to Seremban.
And yes, it brought me to Lukut. I remembered being in Lukut once during Surgery posting. It was he very first time we drove to PD and we took the wrong exit. our 30 minutes journey to PD turned into an hour journey. And I was back in Lukut again yesterday. =_=
Then I recalled mum saying that Lukut was famous for the chicken curry bomb(as I call it). So, I stop by a random coffee shop to have lunch.
And I asked the shopkeeper there for directions to the chicken curry bomb shop. Very easy. Actually. Lukut ‘s just like Tampin. Everything’s along the main road.
That’s how I ended up in Lukut. Reached home exhausted from listening to the radio. But , I was very happy my day was filled up that way.
